Founded in 1890 by oil magnate John D. Rochefeller, The University of Chicago has made an indelible mark on the world at large. The Office of University Development and Alumni Relations, headed by Ronald Schiller, consists of 500 staff and oversees the institution's relationship with all alumni, regardless of degree area. They recently completed a $2 billion campaign ahead of schedule, and planning is currently underway for the next major capital effort.
Senior Director of University Alumni Association
Reporting to the Associate Vice President University Alumni Relations, the new Senior Director of University Alumni Association will oversee a comprehensive set of programs designed to engage alumni the world over. The SD will supervise a staff of more than 24 alumni relations officers. Significant experience in building and managing the highest level of alumni communications strategies, events, and volunteers is required.
