The Opportunity

A member of the advancement senior leadership team, the Director of Leadership Giving will contribute to the overall development strategy of Amherst College. The Director will possess a unique ability to raise donor sights, articulate aspirational goals and ideas, set priorities, and present philanthropic opportunities. S/He will participate in discussions related to campaign planning, volunteer management, and goal setting, and serve as the key decision maker in all leadership giving activities. At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in development with a proven ability to engage individuals and secure commitments is required.
