Catholic Charities of San Francisco is an expansive organization that supports families, aging adults, adults with disabilities, youth, refugees and immigrants, and other populations in need. The organization reaches more than 37,000 clients annually in San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo Counties and at a CYO camp in Sonoma County. Its five primary service areas include homelessness and housing, children and youth, aging, behavioral, and refugee and immigrant services. Catholic Charities supports its programs with an acceptance of diversity and an on-going commitment to charity and justice.

The Opportunity

Catholic Charities of San Francisco is seeking an innovative leader to establish a strong strategic vision all advancement program activities, including the annual fund, capital campaign, major gifts, planned giving, and corporate and foundation relations. Managing a team of six to ten development professionals, the Chief Development Officer (CDO) will have a goal of growing the advancement program, creating development opportunities for three key counties. The CDO will report to the CEO and serve as a community liaison and representative, encouraging partnerships and a positive impression of the organization. A minimum of ten years of progressive development and leadership experience is requested.
