The Opportunity

Joining a team of dynamic and high-achieving fundraising professionals who are committed to the advancement of pediatric medicine, the Senior Director of Development will provide strategic leadership and design, articulate and implement a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy for the Center for Neurosciences and Behavioral Medicine and the Children’s Research Institute of Children’s National. Working closely with center leaders, faculty and Foundation leaders, the Senior Director will report to the Associate Vice President, Annual, Major and Planned Giving and launch creative initiatives capable of attracting significant new funders. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of twelve years experience along with a demonstrated track record of effectively leading fundraising activities in large, complex environments.
