The Opportunity

City of Hope is seeking a Senior Executive Director of Development, Peer-to-Peer Event Fundraising to help lead the evolution of the program to a perpetually campaign-ready, donor-centered program. This fundraising professional will plan, coordinate, and implement strategies for peer-to-peer and signature events, including public facing, national, sports, and other high profile events. Under the direction of the Associate Vice President, the Senior Executive Director will lead collaborative efforts with Communications, Marketing and Creative Services staff toward successful, metrics-based outcomes. The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years of event planning and management experience, as well as experience in complex medical or academic development programs.
