The Opportunity

The Major Gifts Officer will play a key role in the overall growth of philanthropy at Clark University by playing a leadership role in the strategy, planning and stewardship of assigned prospects. The selected candidate will effectively identify and manage a portfolio of 150 qualified prospects and maintain a minimum of 15 meaningful donor contacts and an average of two major gifts solicitations per month. S/he will participate directly in the cultivation, solicitation and closure of major gifts and will work closely with the University Advancement team and other major gift officers, as well as faculty, volunteers and alumni. A Bachelor’s degree and a proven track record of success in cultivating and soliciting gifts of $50,000 or more.
