The Opportunity

The Major Gifts Officer, Duke Children’s Development, will identify, cultivate and solicit major gifts prospects of $100K or more and maintain and manage a portfolio of those prospects. The successful candidate will build partnerships with faculty to increase referrals of grateful patients, and identify and participate in special events, recognition and stewardship programs as needed. The ability to follow best fundraising and operational practices for Duke Medicine Development is essential, as is five years of progressive fundraising experience in a related organization with a proven track record in securing major gifts over $100K.
