Emerson College

Boston, Massachusetts

From actor/author Henry Winkler to comedian Jay Leno, producer Norman Lear (All in the Family) to makeup artist Bobbi Brown, Emerson College’s illustrious alumni can be found in nearly every major media, entertainment or arts enterprise across the country. With an outstanding international reputation, Emerson is the only higher learning institute in the United States that focuses exclusively on the study of communications and the arts. The college has frequently appeared at the top of comparison rankings and is #8 in U.S. News & World Reports 2017 Best Regional Universities in the North. It was also ranked the #10 Best Film School by The Hollywood Reporter and has been in the top ten for Best College Radio Station, Best College Theater and LGBTQ-Friendly Schools in the Princeton Review.

Emerson College has invested significantly in its facilities and equipment, benefiting students and the community beyond. Their “Campus on the Common” investment has revived a key part of downtown Boston with new residential spaces and theater spaces, including the preservation and restoration of historic buildings. The school has also developed one of the largest installations of film, video and audio post-production facilities of any college in the country. Future campaigns will continue to improve these facilities, as well as fund the vital execution and expansion of Emerson College’s academic programs.
