The Opportunity

Harvard University is looking for a Senior Director, University Development Office West Coast Principal Gifts who demonstrates intellectual curiosity and excellent relationship-building skills. The Senior Director will focus on the university’s West Coast engagement efforts, with particular emphasis on California and Washington State, identifying prospects and donors who are able to make principal gifts ($25 million+). Based in Cambridge, this key strategic leader will collaborate with all of the schools at Harvard and will report to the Senior Executive Director, Principal Gifts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience and a knowledge of philanthropy on the West Coast.
