The Opportunity

Perkins School for the Blind is seeking a highly organized senior leader to advance its development goals during an ambitious period of transformation that includes expansion of the Perkins International mission in support of UN sustainable development goals; investment in new technologies to improve digital accessibility and navigation; and the design of social change campaigns to raise awareness of people who are visually impaired. The Chief Development Officer (CDO) will lead Perkins Trust fundraising activities with individuals, foundations, nonprofits, corporations, NGOs, and government agencies to support its initiatives, both in the US and in developing countries, and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. The CDO will leverage the unique and historical assets of Perkins to elevate its visibility on a global scale.
