The Opportunity

Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Annual Giving, Alumni Relations & Constituent Engagement (AVP), the Executive Director for Annual Giving is responsible for creating multi-channel approaches to increase donor participation at the University of Rochester. This analytical, goal-oriented, fundraising professional will establish revenue goals and schedules, with primary responsibility for the $2 million direct response budget. As second in command to the AVP, the Executive Director will provide strong leadership to a successful business unit and will determine outreach strategies for individual constituents, while managing or influencing all mass annual fund appeals. A minimum of seven years of advancement experience is necessary with at least five years in higher education.
